When beginning to write your blog make sure to make it about something you are interested in. If your not motivated to write, chances are your readers won’t be motivated to listen. Make sure it’s something you enjoy whether it be horseback riding, juggling, or fast cars, it all is profitable.

Once you get it up and functional apply for Adsense or Bidvertiser, or both. You need to strategically place the ads on your site. There are many places to put them but near the top is always best. Also it has been proven that making the background of the ad blend with your website gives better results. Users tend to see it as just another interesting link posted by you, when in reality you are getting paid for it.

Now is the time of judgement, make your post. Always be professional in your posts, rants and raves are okay, but try to keep away from cursing. In extreme situations it may be accepted but in general it is best to keep calm. Unless your blog is specifically niché’d for content like that, don’t risk it.

Now trade with other bloggers!
There are tons of bloggers and forums out there, let them know who you are. Don’t spam or flame while doing so, when they talk about something you have posted about before, link it. It’s very simple and very effective, the more subscribers you have to your blog, the more your profits go up!
